
TRIAL UPDATES
After the news of Haile's death went viral and across the media outlets, Lilieth and Tony Clacken, Haile's parents, organized a one mile peace march from the Police Station at Junction in St. Elizabeth to the final spot in Cheapside where Haile was gunned down on June 23, 2017. Here's a timeline of events launching the "Justice For Haile" campaign:
* Sept. 27, 2017: The next court date is set and the case hearing will be held at the St Elizabeth Parish Court in Santa Cruz.

* August 23, 2017: At the court hearing, the ballistic report was outstanding and bail was extended for Shawn Cole at the Balaclava Court in St. Elizabeth.

* July 6, 2017: First court appearance where Shawn Cole was granted a $1 million (JMD) bail.
​
* July 4, 2017: The Guardsman Officer, Shawn Cole is charged with murder .
​
* June 30, 2017: Justice for Haile March.
