 THE PROJECT

"I have so much to be thankful for, so many people to be grateful to and so this morning I pause to remember my son HAILE AMMIFECA, the one who was hoped for has arrived.  JAH , YOU gave to me a precious child who is loving, thoughtful, kind and simply holds no grudge. A BEAUTIFUL MIND. I pray that YOU JAH RASTAFARI bless him in a special way giving him the vision of acceptance and the hope for a better future.  JAH you never failed me and so into YOUR MIGHTY HANDS AND CARE I PLACE MY ONLY SON who I love unconditionally"

THE PROJECT

Haile Clacken was brutally murdered on June 23, 2017 by a Guardsman officer in Cheapside, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica due to reckless judgement and misunderstanding.  Gone too soon at the young age of 36 years old, he leaves behind his lovely wife Nickeshia Clacken and their adorable 8-year-old son Benjamin Clacken. To honor Haile's legacy and beautiful soul, his sister Shashu Clacken decided to launch a foundation to bring awareness to bipolar disorder that Haile unfortunately suffered from and to challenge the licensed firearm holders to exercise the ultimate responsibility of preservation of life of unarmed victims. Shashu and her family are dedicated to seeking justice for her brother's death who showed no threat whatsoever to the Guardsman officer that ended Haile's life.

"Many thanks to everyone who has continuously shown support to achieve justice for Haile. This include improving matters for others with bipolar disorder, help improve practices of security companies to respect and preserve life; contribute to the Haile legacy through publication of his writings, establishment of a scholarship and protection of the future of Haile's son Benjamin who is left behind."
